New Member of the Governmental Committee

We would like to express our gratitude to Dženana Šabić Hamidović for her dedication and contributions over the past years. Dženana has passed on her position as a member of the Governmental Committee to Adisa Gagula.

Adisa is a twenty-year-old first-year student at the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, with a passion for working with children in the future. She is currently volunteering at the Archdiocesan Youth Pastoral Center Ivan Pavao II and is involved in the "PUŽ" project, which focuses on working with children from social care backgrounds.

Adisa grew up in the Bjelave Children’s Home, home for children without parental care, and was a participant in the Older Brother, Older Sister program for several years through the Association for the Prevention of Addiction NARKO-NE. Today, Adisa enthusiastically participates in all events organized by both the Foundation and NARKO-NE, contributing her skills as a photographer. With her experience, knowledge, and keen eye, she selflessly supports the Older Brother, Older Sister program.

“I am deeply honored by the invitation to join the Governmental Committee of your Foundation. I believe I can make a significant contribution with my experience and enthusiasm. I’m confident that my dedication, work ethic, and ability to collaborate will help drive the continued growth and success of the Foundation. This opportunity is very important to me because I share the Foundation’s vision and values, and I am eager to actively contribute to positive changes in our community,” Adisa shared with us.

During the election session on June 12th, she expressed her appreciation for the opportunity and said, “It’s an honor to contribute in this way to my ‘family,’ and I feel fulfilled knowing I have a second family in my life.”

Adisa will serve as a member of the Governmental Committee until the terms of the other current members—Senka Bajramović, Emina Pavica, Đana Lončarica, and Erol Mujanović—expire.

It’s also worth mentioning that Adisa was born in the same year the pilot phase and first cycle of the Program were launched, and today she shares the Governmental Committee with Đana, a volunteer from the first cycle.
